Sidearms is a side-scrolling shooter arcade title developed by Capcom, ported by NEC Avenue and published by NEC Interchannel, which was released in 1989. It is the US version of Japan's Hyper Dyne: SideArms. There is also an enhanced CD version, Hyper Dyne: SideArms Special. The arcade version allows 2 simultaneous players.
The spelling of the US title can be verified inside the cover of the US game manual, it is simply 'Sidearms'.
