Thanks to the tremendous success of the Kickstarter fundraiser, the Muv-Luv games have been made available in the West physically for the PS Vita. The first release, Muv-Luv, contains both the ‘Muv-Luv Extra’ and ‘Muv-Luv Unlimited’ storylines, while Muv-Luv Alternative is the second release that completes a trilogy widely considered to be among the finest the visual novel artform has to offer.
Following the exploits of Takeru Shirogane – a young student caught between the affections of his childhood friend and a mysterious heiress – Muv-Luv seems like a simple romantic story.
