You cut the cord, you beat the games on PS4. Now what?
The IGN for PlayStation app is now available in the United States and Canada, in addition to the UK, EU and Australia. You can download the app in the PlayStation Store on your PS4, or follow these links to the PlayStation Store's website and send the app to your PS4.
Launching the IGN for PlayStation app is like flipping on a TV channel made for enthusiast game fans. Breaking news hits the app at the same time it shows up on the IGN front page. New episodes of Up at Noon, and our other fine video series, feed into the app regularly. We've created a complete IGN experience using only video, because that's what TVs do best.
And while I've compared our app experience to turning on a TV channel, it's more than that. Television is great when you don't know exactly what you want, but the Internet has taught us all that people like control of content. So IGN for PlayStation intros a video experience I'm dubbing "Play Next," which combines the lazy lean-back experience of television with the hands-on control of the Internet.
