Featuring new and returning characters, new modes, a bleak storyline, and a hundred new ways to spell death to your enemies awaits all game enthusiasts in Deception IV: The Nightmare Princess!
The game follows the story of the Devil’s two daughters, Laegrinna and Velguirie, in their quest to free their father from imprisonment. Laegrinna is aided by three demons to find the descendants of the twelve Saints, which bounded her father in prison and lure them into her traps that delivers death through Sadistic, Elaborate, or Humiliating ways. While the infernally mischievous, and wickedly sadistic Velguirie, forges a quest to regain her powers after she loses it from a long slumber. To obtain her powers back and to fulfill her father’s wishes in the process, she must poison human dreams and lure them into a place between the dreamlands and the real world to ensnare their souls using traps and trickery.
Relive Laegrinna’s adventures and accomplish Velguirie’s 100 quests in the brand new Quest Mode to gain new traps and abilities. Enjoy creating your own characters, enemies, and missions with Deception Studio along with Velguirie’s active power, the first in the series’, that allows her to drive her victims into traps or away from her. Deliver the darkest, funniest or the most elaborated combos of death with the game’s over 180 traps like golden toilets that explode, banana peels, defibrillators, swaying pandas, human cannons, iron maidens, Jack-o’-lanterns falling from the sky, and many more! To compliment these traps are the game’s delightfully imaginative settings, including medieval castles, hospitals, playgrounds, amusement parks, and so much more! Players can also unlock returning characters from previous titles including Millenia (the Clockwork Princess, Kagero: Deception II), Reina (the Tragic Princess, Deception III: Dark Delusion), and Alicia (the Branded Princess, Trapt/Kagero II: Dark Illusion) to be made as a playable character after they have been defeated in-game.
