A japanese exclusive ps2 game published by Konami based on the 1970s manga of the same name, Kyoufu Shinbun or "Terror Newspaper".
Similar in style to the ring which followed it, it tells a story of a ghostly newspaper which predicts dire future events.
This ps2 game is a blend of survival horror, fmv and visual novel play styles, wherein you play as a high school student. It has long text and visual story telling segments interspersed with 3rd person 3D horror sections.
Notably it uses the 2nd controller as a sort of spiritual dowsing rod which you place on a paper spirit board that comes with the game, this will give you warnings of when enemies are near.
