Developed by SCEE / Studio London, Hardware offers vehicular combat for up to 16 players. Players first hone their skills in an offline training camp, then jump behind the controls of a military vehicle of their choice and blast their friends to smithereens. The gameplay is instantly familiar to anyone who has played Twisted Metal or Vigilante 8. Each car or tank has primary and secondary weapons (machine guns and rockets), and hunt each other down in arenas ranging from abandoned army bases to artic battlegrounds. Combatants can also pick up power-ups, like heavy missiles, plasma shots, and of course the ever popular medkit.
