Published on Nov 18, 2017. A playthrough of the unlicensed 2010 NES port for the Sega Genesis, Super Mario Bros. Also known as SMB4MD. This impressively accurate conversion, apparently done by the Argentinian programmer Mairtrus, is virtually identical to the original 1985 NES game.
According to the original porter Mairtrus, he used an automatic converter to "translate" from the 6502 (NES) ASM's code to the M68K (Genesis) ASM, and needed to recreate a function to emulate the NES functions. At least 755 of the code is untouched after translating and optimizing the game port to 64kb.
