The game is set towards the end of the sixth season of the Star Trek television show Star Trek: Deep Space Nine and is loosely based on the Millennium trilogy of novels (Fall of Terok Nor, War of the Prophets and Inferno) written by Judith and Garfield Reeves-Stevens.
