Gettysburg: Armored Warfare uses a gameplay system that combines real-time strategy and third-person shooter elements. The player commands a whole army consisting of groups of air, sea and land units, but is also able to zoom in to control single units.
The game is a multiplayer only game with support for up to 64 players per server. Players are able to create armies and save them to their Steam accounts to be loaded and used later.
