3 Stars of Destiny returns to the heroes from Laxius Power and Laxius Force, but back to the years when they were still teenagers. It is a 2D RPG with three modes of difficulty and a focus on exploration.
Familiar characters from the Laxius series appear, such as Random (but before he got to know Sarah) and Luciana when she was still a normal student at the Rillian university, and yet has to meet Random and Sarah. During the quest the player can eventually rely on ten different characters to help him find treasures, challenge strong enemies and progress through the story.
