Donkey Kong: Original Edition is an enhanced port of the NES port of the arcade game Donkey Kong. It adds the 50m level, which was omitted from the original game due to technical limitations. However, the level is also watered down so as to not have the inferior NES levels on the same game as the superior arcade level. Various animations were also added. The game was initially released on select Wii systems in Europe, but was later released onto the 3DS as a free exclusive for those who registered select games on Club Nintendo by a specified deadline.
