Bomberman 64 was released exclusively in Japan in December 2001. Unlike "Baku Bomberman" and its sequel (Bomberman 64 and The Second Attack, respectively, in North America and Europe), this title uses 2D sprites. It features several modes: "Bomberman," a traditional single-player Bomberman game, "Panic Bomber," based on the puzzle game of the same name, "Point and Click," a second puzzle game in which the player clears space by clicking on two adjacent Bomberman heads of the same color, and "Bomberman Park," a collection of mini-games.
Bomberman 64 was the last official Nintendo 64 game to be released in Japan, though the last N64 game worldwide was released more than six months later.
Generally, you can review the controls (keyboard) setting during each game in the screen before it starts. Use the arrow keys and “Z”, “X”, “A”, “S”, “Q”, “E” buttons to play, or customize yourself with your gamepad or keyboard.
