LEGO Dimensions is a computer game developed by Traveller's Tales and published by WB Games. The action-adventure game was released on September 27, 2015 for the PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Wii U, Xbox 360 and Xbox One.
At the end of October 2017, Warner Bros. announced announced that it would stop LEGO Dimensions a year earlier than planned due to declining sales figures.
On the planet Vorton at the center of the Lego Multiverse, the evil Lord Vortech tries to find various elements with which he can rule the entire universe. However, these elements are scattered everywhere and so he collides different universes to get elements such as the ruby shoes from The Wizard of Oz or kryptonite from the DC universe. In the middle of this unified universe, the three characters Batman, Gandalf and Wyldstyle from The LEGO Movie meet, each having lost a friend. Batman lost Robin, Gandalf lost Frodo and Wyldstyle Eisenbart. On their journey, they not only meet other characters, like Marty McFly from Back to the Future, but they also learn more and more about Lord Vortech and his plan and discover new, mysterious stones that give the characters special abilities.
