Riding Hero is a 2.5D over-the-shoulder motorcycle racing game developed and released by SNK for arcades (running Neo Geo MVS hardware) in July 24, 1990.
Along with a standard Grand Prix mode (where players can race in 10 circuits all around the world), the game is known for its single-player Story mode, allowing players to partake in street racing to earn money and tune up their bike while watching the story unfold. Game progress can be saved to the memory card if it is available. At the end of the Story Mode is a grueling endurance race based on the Suzuka 8 Hours.
It is one of the three known games for the MVS platform to support multiplayer through linked arcade machines (the other two being League Bowling and Thrash Rally). Up to four players can play simultaneously.
