Players help a male octopus bounce through a stationary maze so that he can meet a female octopus. The octopus is only allowed so many jets before he runs out of energy and fails the level. To help the octopus make his date, players aim and move him with the trackball. The trajectories must be chosen properly so that he ricochets off walls and bounces to his rendezvous.
The perils to be avoided include sharp coral and sharks. The octopus does have a few shots of ink, which will allow him to disable and eat the attacking sharks.
The octopus's only friend is a mermaid who passes by. If you can catch her, the octopus can hitch a free ride to his date and skip to the next level.
